Dr. Paul ultimately left the surgical practice when he realized the limitations of exploring regenerative orthopedic treatments and non-surgical treatment options.

Dr. Irizarry-Román earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe, School of Medicine in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He began his postgraduate training with an internship at San Juan City Hospital, followed by a residency at the Hospital Universitario Dr. Ramón Ruiz Arnau. His deep-rooted passion for sports and human performance later led him to the United States, where he completed a rigorous Sports Medicine Fellowship.

Dr. Michael Meng DC RMSK RN FNP-BC FIAAM began his musculoskeletal ultrasound career in 2003 after graduating from Chiropractic School, working at Southern California’s largest Rheumatology practice. He developed expertise in diagnostic ultrasound and became an independent contractor serving multiple specialties. Dr. Meng has provided ultrasound services for the United States Olympic Committee, Santa Monica Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, and other prominent institutions. He has contributed to multiple ultrasound textbooks and brings over 10 years of experience in regenerative medicine and ultrasound-guided injections, alongside 15 years of teaching musculoskeletal ultrasound.
